NEW YEAR: A FESTIVAL AGAINST ALMIGHTY.

As people are celebrating the new year festival, giving thanks to Almighty for transition into a new year. There is also a bone of contention among people of different Religious belief.

The festival is “Paganism” as some Religious adherents claim. The controversy is due to the ‘myths’ attached to the first month of the year, JANUARY which it’s origin is traced to a Roman god, JANUS.

The month of January is named after the Roman god of doors, Janus, because this month is the door into the new year.

Janus is also called the two-faced god. He represents all beginnings and possesses the ability to see the past and the future.

However, some Religious adherents kick against this as their perspective is totally different. In the light of this, there has been a lot of critics and analysis flaunting on social media in the late December.

CONCLUSION:

There can never be a conclusion to religious argument, as no one knows the mind of the creator Himself. Therefore, some people hit the edge of the nail as various posts is being created to counter attack the perception of tagging the festival a Paganism.
