UNICAL Vice Presidential Candidate Welcomes Students Back To School

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the University of Calaber Students’ Union Government, EDIOMO ISUNG-HARMONY, has welcomed students back to campus, urging them to observe Covid-19 health guidelines.

According to her, “it is easy to feel a little sad when a long holiday is over but education still offers amazing opportunities. It’s another opportunity to learn.”

Harmony said she hoped they are resuming with renewed but enough zeal to complete the academic year.

“I hope you have come back prepared to complete the academic year.

“I’m so delighted to welcome you back on campus,” she stated.

She however urged all students to, as a matter of exigency, revere the observation of the Covid-19 health guidelines globally rolled out by medical experts in a bid to stem the tide of the pandemic.

“Please remember to observe all WHO COVID-19 guidelines.
1.Wash your hands frequently.
2. Avoid touching your eyes, mouth and nose.
3. Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze.
4. Avoid crowded places.
5. Stay at home if you feel unwell – even with a slight fever and cough.
6. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty in breathing, seek medical care early.
