Police Arrest Nurse Over Woman’s Death Following Butt Lift Surgery

A nurse in Lekki, Lagos, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command following the death of a 36-year-old woman, identified as Abiola, who underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift procedure at a clinic in the area.

According to police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, the driver of the deceased reported the incident at the Maroko Police Division, stating that his employer had died after being administered an injection at the clinic.

Hundeyin revealed that upon arrival, the clinic owner directed a nurse to administer the injection, which led to chaos as the woman lost consciousness and started gasping for breath.

Despite efforts to rush her to another hospital, Abiola was confirmed dead upon arrival.

Detectives have visited the scene, gathered evidence, and transported the corpse to a public morgue for autopsy.

The nurse involved has been taken into custody, and the Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, has ordered an investigation into the incident.
