God Manifests Presence At Conference, Activates Youths To Take Charge
The presence of God was undeniably evident and vividly felt at the much-anticipated 2024 youth conference organized by the Revived Youth Movement, as attendees were powerfully activated by God to fulfill their respective divine mandates.
The two-day conference, themed โActivation,โ was held at the Teens Church of the CAC Revival Centre in Apata, beginning on Thursday and extending into Saturday morning due to a vigil that lasted until dawn.
This unprecedented spiritual gathering was characterized by praise and worship sessions, impactful spiritual lectures, powerful prayers, and much more.
As scheduled, the conference officially kicked off on Thursday evening, with attendees from various denominations coming together to receive the undiluted word of God, delivered by Pastor (Mrs.) Olutayo-Salawu, who guided the audience through the essentials of activation, amplifying that believersโ lives require activation to function and fulfill destinies, just as seen in the lives of the disciples during Pentecost.
She noted, โPentecost was the defining moment of activation for the disciples, as the Pentecostal experience empowered them to fulfill their mandates as disciples of Christ.โ
She furthered that without the Holy Spirit, oneโs life cannot be activated, stressing that this is the essential prerequisite for an activated life.
She concluded her message with a prayer session for the infilling of the Holy Spirit, necessary to activate oneโs life, and wrapped up with a spiritual song directed at instilling the fullness of the indispensable Spirit.
Polity Reporters noted that attendees left with ignited hearts and equipped minds, deeply impacted by the heart-stirring sermon delivered by Pastor Olutayo-Salawu, who is also the wife of the President of the Church, Pastor Olufemi Olutayo-Salawu.
The second day of the conference began with an hour-long intercessory prayer for the youth worldwide, against the schemes of the devil in these perilous end times, and for their ability to fulfill God-given mandates.
Following this, the conference transitioned into a revival-like vigil that commenced at 11 p.m. and continued until shortly after 3am.
The vigil opened with a worship and praise session led by a chorister from a branch of the Church, who inspired the youthful congregation to don their dancing shoes and publicize their moves, filling the auditorium with joyful melodies.
This was followed by a brief prayer session led by Mr. Emmanuel, one of the Teensโ Sunday School teachers, urging the attendees to supplicate before Almighty God for the infilling of the Holy Spirit to receive activation and acceleration for growth, both spiritually and physically.
Mr. Gbolahan, an executive of the Youth Department at the headquarters, delivered a concise teaching on the essence of activation, explaining in practical terms what it means and warning of the dangers that can obstruct Godโs activation in oneโs life, such as sins like unbelief and disobedience to God.
He, however, asserted that without eliminating these impediments, oneโs life will remain stagnant and fail to progress according to Godโs purpose.
A major highlight of the vigil was the song ministration by Minstrel TeeTones, whose powerful worship spiritually charged the atmosphere, leading many to speak in tongues and engage in deep spiritual exercises.
She also taught the youths present some powerful songs that would continue to ring a resounding bell within their hearts.
Following her ministration, the celebrated Jesumodimu Hannah, popularly known as Han J, led the congregation into a profound spiritual worship, singing melodiously to everyoneโs delight.
Another notable highlight was a spoken word performance related to the theme, delivered by Miss Victoria, who captivated the audience from the start to the conclusion of her piece.
Since the conference is known for being word-based, a sermon was delivered by the Holy Spirit through the National Youth President of the Church, Pastor Awosefaju, who exhorted the youths to rid themselves of laziness and become spiritually awakened, as God cannot activate a lazy person since He abhors laziness.
He further urged the youths to always remember and prioritize the God-factor in all their endeavours, as this is another essential prerequisite for experiencing Godโs activation.
Pastor Ajibade then took the pulpit and led the determined youths, whose voices were heard rising to the heavens, in a series of prayers centered on the conference theme, urging them to pray for God to activate their lives so that His plans could be manifested in them, as, according to him, without activation, there can be no manifestation.
He added that attendees should begin to speak powerful words over their lives to dominate, subdue, and excel in every aspect of their endeavoursโspiritually, physically, materially, and beyond.
The Convener, Pastor Oluwatobi Oloruesan, concluded the impactful two-day conference with words of impartation into everyoneโs lives and expressed appreciation to all and sundry, starting from the President of the Church, Pastor Olufemi Olutayo-Salawu, to various departments and individuals involved.
After the grace, testimonies abounded, with one attendee telling Polity Reporters succinctly, โGodโs presence activated something deep within me, and I will never be the same again.โ
Polity Reporters noted that present at the conference were pastors from the headquarters in Apata, some executives of the Youth Department in Apata, Minstrel TeeTones, Minstrel Han J, among others.
