Bibire Mourns Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua, Mother of Former President Musa Yar’Adua

Oyo PDP Chieftain, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, has condoled with the family of Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua, who passed away yesterday, Monday, at 102.

Bibire, in a statement made available to Polity Reporters today, Tuesday, said the departed has left indelible footprints of kindness, love, and charity as a devout Muslim, and would be remembered for her sacrifices to the people of Katsina, Nigeria, and beyond.

He added that Hajiya was a virtuous woman who raised exceptional children, including former President Musa Yar’Adua, who, according to him, served Nigeria with distinction and will go down in history as one of the best presidents Nigeria will ever be blessed with.

He further noted that the matriarch of the Yar’Adua family defined simplicity, loyalty, and patriotism in many ways, as she remained steadfast, believing in Nigeria, despite the vicissitudes of life.

He continued, “As a mother who lost her son in the service of the nation, Hajiya deserves to be celebrated and acknowledged for her resilience and nobility, despite the odds.”

Bibire, however, prayed Allah to console all those who mourn and grant Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua Aljannatul Firdaus.
