Bibire Praises Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Ghandi, on 1st Coronation Anniversary

Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro, popularly known as BIBIRE, has lauded Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, the Soun of Ogbomosho in Oyo State, for his exemplary leadership and dedication to his people and the nation.

In a statement released today, Sunday, to mark the monarch’s first coronation anniversary, Hon. Bibire celebrated Oba Ghandi for upholding the rich traditions of the Ogbomosho kingdom.

The retired U.S. Navy veteran noted that the kingdom has enjoyed sustained peace and harmony since the installation of the first-class traditional ruler.

“Everyone can attest to the peace, harmony, and religious-tolerance that have prevailed in the Ogbomosho kingdom since Oba Ghandi ascended the throne of his ancestors”, maintaining that “His vast experience, gained through national and international relations has greatly enriched his reign,” the statement read in part.

Bibire further saluted the monarch for his generosity and selflessness, noting that Oba Ghandi’s commitment to giving without expectation and loving without discrimination has inspired the people to share in his vision of transforming the kingdom into a model for the state and the nation.

He also commended the king for his wisdom and readiness to engage with all members of the society, regardless of age or status.

The Oyo PDP chieftain concluded by praying for continued strength and grace for Oba Ghandi as he continues to serve his people, the country, and humanity meritoriously.
