Why Kamala Harris Will Win 2024 Presidential Election — Popular Historian 

Allan Lichtman, a leading historian and pollster dubbed the “Nostradamus” of US presidential elections, has predicted that Kamala Harris will win the White House in November’s poll.

Lichtman, who has accurately forecast every presidential election since 1984, except for George W. Bush’s contested victory over Al Gore in 2000, made the prediction in a video for the New York Times.

Lichtman’s predictions are based on a set of 13 true/false propositions, which take into account factors such as the absence of a strong third-party candidate, positive economic indicators, major legislative achievements, and the absence of social unrest or scandal attached to the White House.

According to Lichtman, eight of these keys favor Harris, including the absence of a strong third-party candidate and positive short- and long-term economic indicators.

Despite the Democrats surrendering the valuable key of presidential incumbency, Lichtman believes Harris will still emerge victorious.

He also dismissed the validity of opinion polls indicating that Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump in June had damaged his ability to win the race.

Lichtman’s prediction comes as a surprise to many, given Trump’s strong polling numbers and the Democrats’ decision to replace Biden as their nominee.

However, Lichtman’s track record of accuracy makes his prediction a significant development in the 2024 presidential election.
