IBSW LG Gets One-Day Chairman 

An intelligent and brilliant student from Ibadan Southwest Local Government, Ward 9, Miss Ajayi Darasimi Precious, has emerged as the Executive One-Day “Chairman” of Ibadan Southwest Local Government.

Polity Reporters reports that her emergence followed her victory in a competition organized for students in the LGA by the Chairman, Hon. Kehinde Akande (Eletu), as part of his efforts to commemorate his 100 days in office.

While congratulating her, the Chairman urged her to view her victory and its associated benefits as encouragement to remain focused and committed to her studies, stressing that she ensures she makes the council proud in her future endeavours.

The Chairman, speaking further, added that her administration as the one-day chairman begins on Monday, during which she will be responsible for carrying out all council activities, while utilizing all resources available to the chairman.

The celebrated young lady received large monetary donations from eminent government functionaries, party leaders, and well-wishers present and absent at the event.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of notebooks to all students present.

Distinguished personalities in attendance included the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary to the Council, House Leader; PDP Chairman for Ibadan Southwest Local Government; Alhaji Bosede Adedibu; Iya Mukeso; Councillors; and many other notable figures.
