Hon. Raphael Sunday Appreciates Gov. Makinde, Hon. Bibire, Party Leaders Over Appointment As IBSW LG Secretary

Honourable Raphael Sunday Adebanjo has conveyed his profound gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde, party leaders, and all stakeholders for their incredible efforts that led to his appointment as the Secretary to Ibadan Southwest Local Government.

The new Secretary, who described his appointment as a call to service in an appreciation message made available to newsmen today, Saturday, praised Governor Makinde for his unflagging commitment to meritocracy and lauded him for his masterful leadership and the giant strides he continues to make in elevating Oyo State to unprecedented heights.

Hon. Raphael Sunday, while affirming that it is a distinct privilege to serve under his administration, vowed to wholeheartedly uphold the high standards of governance the hardworking governor has established.

Thanking Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, a respected PDP Chieftain in Oyo State, Hon. Sunday said: “I must appreciate a builder of men, Hon. Hon. Sunday also extended special recognition to Otunba Seye Famojuro, a close ally of the governor, for his total support, and trust in him, assuring that the trust reposed in him will be justified.

Moreover, Hon. Sunday expressed his gratitude for the tireless contributions of stakeholders and party members who played invaluable roles in his appointment, thanking them for their collective efforts in advancing grassroots development.

The PDP stalwart, who hails from Ward 12, Ibadan Southwest Local Government, reiterated that he would diligently discharge his constitutional duties with integrity, transparency, and dedication to the progress of Ibadan Southwest, affirming that his focus would remain on promoting unity and enhancing development while working closely with all relevant parties to meet the needs of the people.
