Kaduna Pastor Donates Prayer Materials To Mosque

As part of his efforts to foster peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims in the state, the General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, Kaduna, Pastor Yohanna Buru, has made a generous donation to the newly constructed Tudun-Biki Central Mosque in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Pastor Buru, who presented over one hundred plastic kettles during the grand opening of the mosque in Tudun Biki on Friday, said the aim was to strengthen Christian-Muslim relations and foster religious tolerance in the state.

Special prayers were offered for the victims, and the new mosque was officially opened for prayers.

In his address, Pastor Buru explained that the churchโ€™s visit was intended to support the Muslim community and promote peace and harmony between Christians and Muslims in the region.

He emphasized that the churchโ€™s contribution was aimed not only at providing essential materials for the mosque but also at helping to strengthen the bond between the two faiths, thereby fostering peace and religious tolerance.

โ€œWe must remember that we are one family under God. Both Christians and Muslims follow holy scripturesโ€”the Bible and the Quranโ€”and we share common beliefs in paradise and hell. Our ancestry traces back to Adam and Eve, and as such, we must live as brothers and sisters, supporting one another.โ€

Expressing gratitude to the church, Mallam Ibrahim Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, who received the donation, thanked Pastor Buru for his generous gifts, which included historical trees, prayer mats, and plastic kettles for Muslim worshippers.

Mallam Ibrahim stated that the community had gathered to offer special prayers for the victims of the bombing and to formally open the new mosque for use.

โ€œExactly one year ago today, this tragedy struck during the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
