Atiku Congratulates French President, Emmanuel Macron On His Re-election
Atiku Abubaker, the former Vice President of Nigeria and a presidential candidate, congratulated Emmanuel Macron, 44, on his re-election as French President.
His words: “I congratulate Emmanuel Macron on his victory and five more years as President of France.
“I look forward to our two countries working together to promote a united Nigeria with a future we will all be proud of.”
Polity Reporters had reported how French President Emmanuel Macron defeated his opponent, Marine Le Pen in the presidential election on Sunday.
The development means that, Macron, 44, would be the first French president to be re-elected since Jacques Chirac in 2002, after his predecessors Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande departed office after only just one term.
