Being Born Again Is Not An Ideology — Pastor Ajibade
Pastor Adegoke Ajibade of Christ Apostolic Church Revival Centre has clearly stated that being born again is not an ideology but a definite encounter that leaves no room for doubt in the heart of anyone who has experienced it.
He made this statement today, Sunday, while delivering a sermon on the theme of the month titled “Understanding the Kingdom of God.”
The man of God said anyone who is truly born again will have a deep assurance within and will not be confused about their spiritual state.
According to him, “you cannot be born again and not know that you are born again.”
He explained that anyone who is unsure of their salvation has not yet experienced the new birth.
Speaking further, he stated that the day a person gives his or her life to Jesus is the day the Kingdom of God enters into that life.
The newly appointed resident pastor of the church headquarters in Apata amplified that Jesus is the embodiment and symbol of the Kingdom, adding that “when Jesus is inside of you, the King of the Kingdom, with His Kingdom, is inside of you.”
He sang the second stanza of hymn 227 of the Christ Apostolic Church to lend credence to his position, alongside a reference to Luke chapter 17 verse 21.
He, however, urged believers to allow Jesus to find full expression in their lives and to live by the constitution and currency of the Kingdom, which he described as the Bible and Faith (Absolute Faith in God) respectively.
He explained that the Bible is the constitution that guides the actions and inactions of believers, while faith is the currency needed to access the blessings and benefits of the Kingdom.
He concluded that without strict adherence to the foregoing (Bible and Faith in God, ditto for the principles of God, no believer can walk in the full manifestation and power of God.
