EPL Table Update: Arsenal Lead Widened to Four Points After Man City Draw with Sunderland

Manchester City failed to close the gap on Arsenal after a 0-0 draw with Sunderland on Thursday night.

Earlier in the week, Arsenal extended their lead to five points with a 4-1 win over Aston Villa.

City came into the match on a nine-game winning streak.

However, that run ended on New Year’s Day as they could not score against the newly promoted Sunderland.

The draw leaves Pep Guardiola’s team with 41 points, four points behind Arsenal.

City’s next league match is at home against Chelsea, who are currently without a manager.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will travel to face Bournemouth in their next game.
