Fagbenro-Bibire Pays Unscheduled Visit To BPVA Ibadan Southwest LG Meeting, Harps On Unity, Synergy

The leading House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan Southwest and Northwest Federal Constituency, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro Bibire, paid a surprise visit to the Bibire Peoples Vision Association Ibadan Southwest wing during their weekly meeting held today, Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Bibire who was accompanied by his first son, commended the efforts of all members of the association and stressed the important need for unity and synergy among everyone especially as the 2027 elections draw closer.

He urged leaders and members to put aside personal differences and make meaningful contributions to the growth of the association, noting that the positive change they are working towards will only materialize through cooperation and mutual support.

This was as he encouraged them to move across every part of the local government and build on the existing momentum of the Bibire gospel which, according to him, remains centered on the prioritization of the welfare of the people and the progress of the pokity.

He also charged them to boldly project Governor Seyi Makinde as most qualified, ideal, and competent leader to steer the affairs of the nation, pointing to his impressive track record and the undeniable progress recorded across all sectors in Oyo State over the past six years.

Speaking about the presence of his son, the retired US Navy veteran noted that many politicians would never take their children along for campaigns or allow the people to see them, but his action shows that he is different.

He explained that by bringing his son along, who has spent many years in the United States, he is deliberately nurturing the fine qualities of responsible leadership he has already instilled in him and deepening his love for his fatherland while also setting a clear example for other leaders to emulate.

One of the leaders of the association who was visibly excited expressed joy at the unexpected visit, describing Bibire as an exceptional philanthropist who continues to demonstrate rare capacity and unexampled commitment.

Another member who spoke with Polity Reporters said the visit has strengthened the five core values of the association which are Integrity, Commitment, Courage, Selflessness and Discipline, and also challenged everyone to stay active and purposeful in their dedication to the growth of the association rather than engaging in eye service.

Bibire, in his usual manner, made a generous donation that ensured everyone present left with something meaningful to take home.
