Ibadan Southwest League of Councillors Celebrates Hon. Busari Maruf On His Birthday, Describes Devotion To Cause Of LG, PDP As Legendary

The councillors representing the twelve (12) wards of Ibadan Southwest Local Government have congratulated Honourable Busari Maruf Olakunle, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement jointly signed by the Leader of the House, Honourable Adelodun Asela, and the Chairman of the House Committee on Information, Honourable Kazeem Abiola Alatishe, a copy of which was made available to Polity Reporters last night, the lawmakers described his devotion to the cause of Ibadan Southwest as legendary and thanked him for his immense contributions to the growth and development of the Peoples Democratic Party in the local government.

This was as they confessed that the celebrant is a consummate community leader who has distinguished himself through sheer hard work, discipline and commitment to excellence.

“We want to place it on record that Hon. Busari is a peace-loving and hardworking party chieftain with a commendable positive scorecard.

“We are proud of his achievements and will continue to value his courage in ensuring that the PDP in Ibadan Southwest grows stronger and stronger,” the statement added.

The House concluded with a prayer to Almighty Allah to bless the celebrant with long life, good health and greater strength in his continued service to the party, the local government, Oyo State, Nigeria and humanity at large.
