Eid-el-Kabir: IBSWLG Secretary Calls On Muslims To Have Absolute Faith In God, Live Sacrificial Life

Honourable Adebanjo Sunday Raphael, Secretary to the Ibadan Southwest Local Government, has conveyed greetings to Muslims within the Local Government and across the world as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
Hon. Sunday Raphael also urged faithful to embrace the central message of absolute faith in God and sacrifice.
He revealed that the account of Prophet Ibrahim, who had complete faith in God and was ready to offer his son in submission to His will, teaches us to trust in God absolutely and remain hopeful even in challenging times.
He equally added that the event placed due weight on the importance of living a sacrifice, which can be applied to serving humanity and building a better society.
He expressed this in a Sallah message he personally signed and made available to Polity Reporters today, Friday.
Hon. Raphael noted that this day calls on everyone to do more than talk and put true acts of sacrifice into action to improve their immediate communities.
He maintained that sacrifice in our daily lives means giving our time, energy, and resources to help others and promote collective well-being.
Speaking further, he urged Muslims, as they merry, to use this occasion to pray for peace, unity, and the progress of the Local Government and Nigeria as a whole.
Hon. Sunday Raphael also appreciated the Executive Chairman, Hon. Kehinde Adeyemi Akande, for the great work he has done in driving the development of Ibadan Southwest Local Government.
He then called on the people to continue giving the administration essential support while also praying for the success of the administration.
He prayed that Allah will answer all prayers, accept all sacrifices, bless every household, and grant the entire local government, the state, and the nation peace, growth, and abundant blessings.
