Kalu Exposes Nigerian Billionaires

Abia North Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has accused most Nigerian billionaires of stealing government funds.

Kalu, a former governor of Abia State said most Nigerian billionaires convert stolen funds into dollars before diverting it into their private pockets.

He disclosed this during a conversation with veteran journalist, Dele Momodu and Nigerian fashion designer, Seyi Vodi.

According to Kalu: “There are few like me that are not thieves and made legitimate money in this country.

“Almost everybody you see today who are billionaires stole government money.

“Those claiming that they have this and that were nowhere in 1997 and 98. I don’t want to get angry, any day i get angry, I will call them out by names.

“Let’s stop the usage of dollars and let’s see how they would survive, they are stealing money and changing to dollars, so how can the economy be well? It’s not possible.”

This comes as Kalu had claimed that he never benefited anything when he was the governor of Abia State.

Kalu said politics has been so dangerous to him because the Federal Government took over his assets.

Appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday evening, Kalu said he spent his money on people without benefiting a single thing.
