PDP Moves South West Zonal Congress From Oyo To Osun, Picks April 12
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after further comprehensive deliberations on issues of concern in the South West zonal chapter of the PDP has resolved to schedule the congress to Monday, April 12, 2021.
Also, the congress will be unfolding in Oshogbo, the Osun state Capital.
The PDP national leadership however pledged to work with all stakeholders with a view to achieving a seamless and unifying congress in the SouthWest zone.
The party in a statement signed by its national publicity secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, said it urged all leaders of the party, critical stakeholders and teeming members in the Southwest and the nation at large to be accordingly guided.
“The PDP commends the spirit of understanding, unanimity and selflessness exhibited by our leaders and critical stakeholders in the South West in the deliberation of issues related to the zone,” the statement read in part.
