Photos: Zulum Gifts 81 Medical Doctors 81 Apartments, N79m
Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, handed out 81 units of three-bedroom homes and checks totaling N79m to 81 resident medical physicians on Friday in Maiduguri.
Each doctor was given a stylishly made flat in a quarters specifically built for doctors in 13 blocks of two-story buildings, with each block having six flats. The quarters were properly gated, manicured, bloomed, and equipped with sporting facilities and a playground.
The 13 blocks at the quarters feature a total of 78 apartments, while another story structure at Muhammadu Shuwa Memorial Hospital has three extra flats, totaling 81 flats.
Two out of the 81 flats were fully furnished while 79 were yet to be furnished.
Zulum presented cheques worth N1m as furnishure support to 79 doctors who were allocated the 79 unfurnished flats
