Police Reward Officer With N30,000 For Returning $800 To Owner

A police officer named Nura Mande was given a reward by the Katsina State command of the Nigerian Police Force for finding and returning $800 to its rightful owner.

Constable Mande was presented with an award and given a reward of N30,000 by the State Commissioner of Police for his honesty, according to the Command’s spokesperson, SP Gambo Isah, who spoke to SaharaReporters on Saturday.

While on duty at the Hajj camp, Mande allegedly discovered the $800, belonging to an intending pilgrim which would have cost N480,000 in exchange.
