The Judges in God’s Courtroom by Destiny Dr. (Part 1)
It is crystal clear that some individuals (religious personalities) assume the role of judges in God’s courtroom, competing with the Creator Himself. How pitiful!
They even go extra length to manipulate their followers with phrases like “God says” and “Allah says.”
This manipulation is indeed disheartening, and makes one to asks some rhetorical questions like is it truly God’s judgment being pronounced? Is God indeed the judge over the affairs of men?
Let’s imagine a cinematic scenario where God is the judge, religious leaders are the lawyers (though they’re overstepping their bounds), and we’re the audience. Get ready for the court session!
Get your popcorn ready, sit in position, shun any distraction and focus on the big screen as we enjoy this together.
The accused, guilty of multiple counts, enters the dock.
Judge (God): How do you plead?
Accused: Mercy, I promise not to repeat my mistakes (with tears).
Lawyer 1 (Religious Leader): Shut up! You’ll rot in hellfire!
Lawyer 2: No remedy for you; eternal fire awaits!
Judge (God): (with pity) You know what? Lawyer 1 interrupts, quoting scripture about liars facing condemnation. Lawyer 2 condemns the accused, saying they don’t even deserve to stand in court.
This scenario reflects our society, where religious leaders and adherents prioritize condemnation over compassion.
It makes one to ask: are we are not interrupting God’s judgment with our own verdicts? While lies and atrocities are condemned, shouldn’t religious leaders focus on guiding people towards improvement rather than condemnation? The assumption of being God’s mouthpiece has become overwhelming. (To be continued…)
