Fagbenro-Bibire Congratulates Arapaja on Endorsement as PDP’s Consensus Candidate for National Secretary
Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro, renowned as Bibire, has congratulated the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, on his recent endorsement as the South West consensus candidate for the position of National Secretary.
He communicated this in a congratulatory statement where he described Arapaja’s endorsement as a well-deserved recognition of his loyalty, consistency, and leadership capacity within the party.
According to him, the decision of Governor Seyi Makinde and other South West stakeholders to reach a peaceful consensus gives credence to the unity, maturity, and renewed commitment of the party towards building a stronger PDP ahead of the coming convention.
In his words, the leading House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan Southwest and Northwest Federal Constituency said the choice of Ambassador Arapaja stands as a representation of stability and progress for the party, especially as the South West continues to play a significant part in repositioning the PDP for national strength, acceptance, and electoral victory.
The US IT specialist further expressed confidence that Arapaja’s experience as a former Deputy Governor and current Deputy National Chairman will add depth to the secretariat and promote cohesion among members at all levels of the party.
The unequalled philanthropist also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his continuous leadership in promoting peace and consolidating inclusiveness within the South West PDP and for always prioritizing collective progress above “unique commitments.”
The retired US Navy veteran prayed for God’s wisdom and guidance for Ambassador Arapaja as he prepares to serve in a higher capacity and urged party members across the region to give their full support towards the success of the national convention.
