Day 1: Lagos Youths Bag Life-Changing Encounter With God at Grace & Glory 3.0

Youths across Lagos State, especially students of Lagos State University of Education LASUED and Yabatech, experienced an unprecedented but life-changing encounter with God yesterday, Friday, during the first day of the third edition of the Grace and Glory programme specially designed for LASUED students.
Polity Reporters recalls that the Revived Youth Movement is on a rescue assignment to draw youths who may have wandered off back into the presence of God, and the experience of yesterday clearly validated the success of this assignment as heaven rejoiced again over souls that were won into the Kingdom of God.
The well-attended programme which held at CAC Revival Centre, Chairman Street, Noforija, Epe, Lagos, began shortly after 4 in the evening with an opening prayer that ushered in the move of God, and equally motioned subsequent developments.
The Choir of the church then led a praise and worship session which served as a spiritual gateway for the undeniable presence of God that tented the large and spacious auditorium.
An intercessory prayer session, which is a known identity of the Revived Youth Movement, followed and was directed towards the salvation of souls and the establishment of the Kingdom of God in the community and beyond.
A soul-stirring worship session led by Minister Olaoye Titilayo took the entire congregation into deep spiritual atmosphere of pure reverence, as deliberate voices rose from within the very depth of hearts and saturated the entire auditorium with a powerful sense of God’s holy presence.
Following this worship session came a brief update from the convener who intimated everyone of the foundation and expectations of the Grace and Glory programme which began in Ibadan two months ago, September 6 to be precise.
After this, the Guest Minister and National Youth Pastor of CAC Revival Centre, Pastor Segun Awosefaju, mounted the pulpit to walk everyone through the fundamentals of Grace and Glory.
He explained that Grace is the foundation while Glory is the destination, stating that the duo are inseparable.
He continued that grace, as the unmerited favour of God, is the divine wherewital that makes the attainment of glory possible, and strongly declared that “show me someone who is enjoying God’s glory, and I will show you someone who has been enabled by the grace of God.”
He also stressed that what truly makes the difference is not the way someone begins their walk with God but the strength to keep going and stay grounded in faith because that is what opens the door to glory.
He supported this by noting that many youths started on fire but because of “pressures and challenges” along the way, some drifted away and missed out on what God originally designed for their lives.
He then outlined four practical steps to walk in Grace and Glory.
The first, according to him, is faith and humility which he described as essential virtues for anyone who desires to operate in grace and glory.
The second, he said, is obedience because obedience, he noted, “preserves and sustains glory.”
The third is to remain a carrier of God’s presence through continuous communion with God in prayer and worship.
The fourth is to always return all Glory to God because a person who attributes power to human effort cannot walk in the fullness of God’s Grace and Glory.
The servant of God who encouraged every youth who desires to make headway in life to keep the prayer of Grace and Glory on their lips, concluded with a fervent prayer that the Grace and Glory of God will remain perpetual in the lives of everyone.
After the sermon, Brother Tomiwa led the congregation in a strong and powerful prayer session that spiritually deepened the atmosphere.
The convener, Pastor Tobi Olorunesan then proceeded with a spiritual impartation which brought about a mighty move of the Holy Spirit that resulted in the torrential downpour of grace and glory, the opening of spiritual understanding, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance, renewed purpose and what have you.
The spiritually enriching and refreshing experience was brought to a close with prayer and the sharing of grace by the Resident Pastor, Pastor Olatunji.
Polity Reporters confirms that Day 2 continues today Saturday by 9 in the morning as God will be revealing and manifesting Himself again in an even greater dimension.
